Test, Test, Test!

Every single aspect of your online business will need to be tested. This includes everything on your website, everything bringing people into your website, and anything that may be stopping you from receiving more conversions than you should.

Not everyone enjoys having to go through and do testing, but if you want to know what's working and what's not working you will need to do a lot of testing. Testing is not done just at the end of things; it's done throughout, beginning and end. So this step is technically done the entire time you are going through every aspect of your business.

Testing happens to be one of the most forgotten steps and can be the one step that everyone should do. Without testing there is no possible way of determining exactly what you've done right or wrong, so there is no way you could ever improve your business if you don't know what's going on.

You will want to do a complete analyse of your website, your sales, and everything associated with your website. By testing things out and seeing what's going on you can determine why people are not purchasing your products/services, why they are leaving your website, and how they are even getting to your website.

Some people can be lead to a website with a keyword that is being wrongly directed. This could skyrocket your bounce rate, so check to see what people are using to get to your website and why this certain keyword is leading to you instead of somewhere else. Could be a simple fix and you could see your conversions increase.

A lot of testing is done throughout every website and should to be done. Your website relies on perfection and if you want the perfect website that gets the best sales imaginable, you need to test your way to get there. See what works and see what doesn't. You could find yourself running several Pay per Click campaigns for various keywords before you find those few keyword phrases that truly convert well for your business.

There is only one way to get to the top and that's working out all the problems to make your business the above all and be all of website's selling the same products and services as you.
